Born in 1966 in Hamburg/Germany, Cornelia finished the University of arts & design in early age. During her studies and after starting to work as an art director for international agencies or later on independently, she loved to travel. Central America and the United States her favorite destinations.

In 2009 Cornelia and her son Louis León relocated towards Granada/Spain. What was scheduled a six weeks escape still continues today. Life is different in the South, it´s easier to find the freedom for an independent way of living. In Andalucia she started drawing and painting again. Figurative, be it human or animal, reduced to the essential. Always a surprise how much story turns out, if you let the pencil run his own way.
